What is involved with long-term care planning?


Long-term care is the enlistment of various services used to support or assist in the personal care needs of an elderly person. Most long-term care is not medical-related and typically includes assistance in everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, moving around the house, and using the toilet, just to name a few.
